Why the tangible-good rule bites hardest here
Etsy carves out one exception: tarot, psychic and other divination readings are allowed when they include a tangible good, such as photos of the spread, audio or video of the reading, or the text of the reading itself. For a medium that is an awkward fit. The work is relational and often conversational, and the requirement to attach an artefact turns a sitting into a file.
It also leaves no room for the part that matters most, which is the exchange itself. Mediumship without contact is a transcript.

Can mediums sell readings on Etsy?
Only within a narrow exception. Etsy permits psychic and divination readings when a tangible good is included, such as the written text, a photo, or an audio or video recording. Etsy prohibits metaphysical services generally, including distance healing, spellcasting, prayers and rituals.
Can I offer ongoing chat guidance rather than a one-off reading?
Yes. Chat guidance is its own offering type on Divina, separate from a written reading, so you can list both at different prices. Every order opens a private chat with the seeker regardless of the offering type.
What does Divina cost?
A flat 10% commission on completed orders. No listing fees, no monthly subscription, no charge to open a shop. You set every price and keep 90% of it, and payouts go out automatically through Stripe.
Am I protected from chargebacks?
Keeping messages and payment on Divina is what makes that possible. Off-platform payment is against the rules precisely because it removes that protection, and a practitioner who asks a seeker to pay off-platform is violating the Acceptable Use Policy.
