Sell tarot readings online
Last updated
Tarot readers can sell readings on Divina, a marketplace built only for spiritual services. You write the listing, set the price and the delivery window, and deliver the reading as proof in the order chat. Divina takes 10% of completed orders and charges nothing to list.
Where tarot stands on the general marketplaces
Tarot is the one corner of spiritual work that most general marketplaces still allow, and even then conditionally. Etsy carves out one exception: tarot, psychic and other divination readings are allowed when they include a tangible good, such as photos of the spread, audio or video of the reading, or the text of the reading itself. A reading delivered as a live conversation with nothing to hand over does not qualify.
That rule shapes the product rather than just the paperwork. It pushes readers toward written or recorded deliverables and away from anything that looks like a pure service, on a platform whose listing form was built for physical objects with shipping profiles and variants.
How a tarot listing works on Divina
On Divina a tarot reading is a Reading offering. You give it a title, describe your approach and what the seeker receives, set your own price, and state a delivery window you can hold. There is no shipping profile to fill in and no tangible-good requirement to design around, because the service is the thing being sold.
- The seeker picks your listing and shares their intention in their own words before you begin.
- The order opens a private chat with them, so you can ask what you need to pull a useful spread.
- You perform the reading within your stated window and deliver it as proof.
- Your payout releases 72 hours after proof, automatically, through Stripe.
What proof looks like for a reading
Proof is evidence the work was performed, not evidence that it worked. For tarot that is usually the reading itself: the written interpretation, a photo of the spread you pulled, or a recording walking through the cards. The listing tells the seeker which to expect, so nobody is surprised at delivery.
Describe the reading you will do and the proof you will deliver. Never promise an outcome. Guaranteed-result claims violate Divina's Acceptable Use Policy and can cost you your shop.

Practice on DivinaCommon questions
Can you sell tarot readings on Etsy?
Conditionally. Etsy's Services policy permits tarot, psychic and other divination readings only when a tangible good is included, such as a photo of the spread, an audio or video recording, or the written text of the reading. A reading with nothing to deliver does not qualify, and Etsy prohibits metaphysical services more broadly.
What does it cost to sell tarot readings on Divina?
Divina takes a flat 10% commission on completed orders. There are no listing fees, no monthly subscription, and no charge to open a shop. You set every price, and payouts go out automatically through Stripe once you complete an order.
Do I have to sell exclusively on Divina?
No. There is no exclusivity of any kind. Keep reading through your own site, Instagram, an existing marketplace, or anywhere else you already work. Divina is designed to be your best channel, not your only one.
How quickly do I get paid for a reading?
Your payout releases 72 hours after you deliver proof, which is what marks the Working complete. The short hold gives the seeker a window to confirm they received what they commissioned before funds settle.
Do I need a following to start?
No. Divina is a destination marketplace, so seekers arrive already looking for this work, and Divina handles the marketing. Practitioners are hand reviewed before their shop goes live, which is what keeps the marketplace worth arriving at.
