Is Divina legit? Who runs it, how practitioners are vetted, and how your money is protected
Yes. Divina is a real marketplace run by Brooke Builds Stuff LLC, an independent company in Brooklyn, New York. Every practitioner is a real person, reviewed by a human before their shop opens and identity-verified by Stripe before they can be paid. You pay a fixed price up front, and your payment is held until the practitioner delivers proof of the work.

Who runs Divina
Divina is operated by Brooke Builds Stuff LLC, a small independent company based in Brooklyn, New York. It opened to customers on 1 September 2026. You can reach a person at support@divinaapp.com or through the contact page.
Divina was founded by Brooke Bekoff, who still reads the support inbox.
On iPhone, the app is called Divina: Readings & Rituals on the App Store. On the web, it lives at divinaapp.com.
How practitioners are vetted
Every practitioner is a real person who applied to join. Nobody is listed automatically.
- A person reviews every application. We look at their practice, their experience, how clearly and honestly they describe their offerings, and their record of following through. Applications can be turned down, and some are.
- Some applications get a closer look. Where we need more, we ask for a photo or short video of a real working before we approve.
- Stripe verifies their identity. Before a shop goes live, the practitioner has to finish Stripe's identity verification: legal name, address, date of birth and a bank account. A shop that is approved but not verified doesn't appear on Divina.
- Listings are screened. Every listing is checked against our acceptable use policy when it's written or edited, and anything flagged goes to a person.
Vetting is about care and quality. It isn't a promise about any outcome, and no practitioner on Divina is allowed to make one.
How your money is protected
- You pay through Stripe, by card or Apple Pay, in secure checkout. Divina never asks for card details by message or email.
- The price is fixed before you pay. Practitioners set flat prices. Nothing is billed by the minute, and the buyer service fee is shown at checkout before you confirm.
- Your payment is held until proof is delivered. Proof is evidence the work was done: the written reading, photos of the working, a recording. The practitioner is paid 72 hours after proof arrives, or sooner if you rate the order 3 stars or more.
- A low rating pauses the payout. Rate an order 1 or 2 stars and the payout goes on hold while it's looked at, so it can't release as if nothing were wrong.
- If it's never delivered, you get your money back. Non-delivery after a chance to fix it, fraud, a fear-based upsell, a duplicate charge, or a request we removed before it was performed are all grounds for a refund. See the refund policy.
- Cancelling before delivery. If a practitioner declines or cancels your order, you're refunded in full. For a scheduled live session, the practitioner's cancellation policy is shown on the listing and at checkout before you pay. Unless the practitioner sets a different one, it's free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
One honest line: because no outcome is guaranteed, being unhappy with a result isn't grounds for a refund. Work that was never delivered is.
Keep payment on Divina. If anyone asks you to pay through another app or by transfer, don't, and flag the order. Held payment and refunds only work on-platform.
What Divina won't list
- No hexes, curses, bindings or anything aimed at a named person's will.
- No guaranteed outcomes. A listing that promises a result breaks the rules.
- No medical, legal or financial claims.
- No "you have a curse only I can lift" upsells. It's the oldest scam in this field, and it's reportable.

Not to be confused with
There's more than one app called Divina. We're not affiliated with any of them.
- Divina (this site) is divinaapp.com. On the App Store it's Divina: Readings & Rituals (app id 6790885436), published by Brooke Builds Stuff LLC. Every reading, ritual and prayer you commission on it is performed by a real human practitioner you choose, and that person is paid for the work.
- "Divina", subtitle "Align With Your Signs Daily" (App Store id 6740611422) is a separate app from a different developer. Its readings come from four named character guides inside the app: Madame Isadora, Lady Octavia Lockhart, Elias Nightshade and Lira Mistwalker. It's a different product, and it has no connection to us.
If you're not sure which one you're looking at, check the name on the App Store listing. Ours is "Divina: Readings & Rituals".

Common questions
Is Divina a real company?
Yes. Divina is operated by Brooke Builds Stuff LLC, an independent company in Brooklyn, New York, and has been open to customers since 1 September 2026. You can reach a person at support@divinaapp.com.
Are Divina's practitioners real people?
Yes. Every practitioner is a real person who applied, was reviewed by a human, and passed Stripe's identity verification before their shop went live. When you commission a reading or ritual, the practitioner you chose does the work themselves.
Is Divina the same as the other "Divina" app with character guides?
No. Divina is divinaapp.com and "Divina: Readings & Rituals" on the App Store, where real human practitioners do the work. The App Store app called "Divina" ("Align With Your Signs Daily") is a separate app from a different developer, with no connection to us.
Is my payment safe on Divina?
You pay through Stripe at a fixed price shown before checkout. Divina holds the payment until the practitioner delivers proof of the work, and pays them 72 hours later, or sooner if you rate the order 3 stars or more.
Can I get a refund on Divina?
Yes, if the work isn't delivered, if there's fraud or a fear-based upsell, or if you're charged twice. A practitioner who declines or cancels refunds you in full. A disappointing result isn't refundable, because no outcome is ever guaranteed.
Are the reviews on Divina real?
Divina reviews can only be left by the person who placed and received the order, so every one is tied to a real completed order.
