What you actually receive
An online tarot reading is a deliverable, not an appointment. The reader pulls your spread, interprets it against the question you asked, and hands you something you keep: the written reading, images of the cards as they fell, an audio or video walkthrough, or some combination the listing spells out before you pay.
That is the difference worth understanding before you buy. A live phone reading ends when the call ends. A commissioned written reading is yours to re-read in three months, when the thing you asked about has actually happened and the cards read differently in hindsight.
Choosing a spread and a question
The question does more work than the spread does. "Should I take the job" invites a yes or no, which tarot is bad at. "What am I not seeing about this job" invites a reading, which tarot is good at. Readers on Divina will tell you if your question needs reframing before they pull, because a badly framed question produces a reading nobody can use.
- One-card or one-question pull — a single focused answer, usually the fastest and cheapest option, from about $12.
- Three-card spread — past, present, future, or situation, obstacle, advice. The common middle.
- Ten-card Celtic Cross or a full spread — a long written reading covering context, influences and trajectory, typically $25 to $40.
- Year-ahead reading — a card or spread per month, bought once and referred back to across the year.
What it costs
Every reader on Divina sets their own prices, so there is no house rate. In practice a one-question pull runs from about $12, a focused love or career reading around $25, and a full ten-card written reading around $28 to $35. The price and the delivery window are both on the listing before you commit, and you pay when you place the request rather than after.
How commissioning works
You describe your intention in your own words, pay when you place the request, and a private chat opens with the practitioner. They perform the work inside the delivery window stated on the listing and share proof when it is done.
Proof is evidence the work was performed, not evidence that it worked: the written reading itself, a photo of the spread or the altar, a recording, or a description of what was done and when.
Every practitioner is hand reviewed before their shop goes live, and Divina takes 10% of completed orders — the reader keeps the rest and sets the price you see.
What a reading will and will not do
A reading is a structured way to think about something you are already carrying. It can name a pattern you have been circling, or say a thing out loud that you had not let yourself say. It cannot tell you a fact about another person's private life, predict a medical result, or promise an outcome.
No practitioner on Divina may guarantee an outcome, and none of this is a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental health care.

Tarot readings are sold on Divina for entertainment and personal reflection, and no reader may guarantee an accuracy rate or an outcome. What a good reader gives you is a coherent, well-argued interpretation of the cards against your question. Whether that lands is a judgement you make when you read it.
How long does an online tarot reading take?
Each listing states its own delivery window, and the reader commits to it. One-question pulls are often answered the same day. Longer written spreads typically land within one to seven days. The window is shown on the listing before you pay, and you can see it again in the order at any time.
How much does a tarot reading cost online?

What do I get at the end of a tarot reading?
Whatever the listing said you would: a written interpretation, photographs of the spread as it fell, an audio or video walkthrough, or a mix. The reader shares it as proof in the private order chat, which is also where you can ask them a follow-up question about what they pulled.
Can I ask about another person?
You can ask how a relationship or situation sits with you, and readers work with that constantly. What no practitioner on Divina will do is read a third party's private business without their knowledge, or work anything intended to influence someone else's choices. That is an Acceptable Use line, not a preference.
What if the reading never arrives?
Flag the order. Divina holds payment until the practitioner delivers proof, and an order that goes past its window can be flagged from the order screen for support to look at. See the help center on what happens if an order is late.
