Taskrabbit, Uber, Zocdoc, DoorDash, Craigslist or Fiverr for psychics and witches

Divina is not affiliated with Taskrabbit, Uber, Zocdoc, DoorDash, Craigslist or Fiverr. The names are here because they are how people describe what they are looking for, and the honest answer is different for each.

Like Taskrabbit: hiring a person for a specific job

This is the closest fit. You choose a named practitioner for a defined piece of work, such as a candle working for a new job or a cleansing for a new home. The listing states the flat price and the delivery window, you describe what you need in your own words, and the practitioner is paid once they deliver proof the work was done.

Where it breaks: a tasker's work can be checked. A shelf is either up or it is not. A working is performed, and the proof shows it was performed, but nobody can show you that it worked, and nobody on Divina may claim to.

Like Uber: someone available now

Some of it is fast. Many readings and some workings are delivered within a day, and the same-day guides show only listings that commit to a window of one day or less. Some practitioners also offer live sessions over video or voice.

Where it breaks: there is no queue of readers waiting to pick up, and no per-minute calls. Nothing connects you to whoever is free in the next sixty seconds. The fastest work here is same-day, not same-minute, and if you need a live voice right now, a per-minute psychic line does that and Divina does not.

Like Zocdoc: booking a time on a real calendar

For live sessions this is accurate. Practitioners who offer them can publish their availability, and you pick an open slot when you book. The length, price and the practitioner's cancellation terms are on the listing before you pay.

Where it breaks: most work on Divina is not an appointment at all. A written reading or a working is commissioned rather than scheduled, and it arrives inside a delivery window instead of at a time you both attend.

Like DoorDash: done for you, and delivered

A commissioned working is performed remotely, without you present, and what comes back is the record of it: photographs of the altar or the candle, a recording, or a written account of what was done and when.

Proof is evidence the work was performed, not evidence that it worked: the written reading itself, a photo of the spread or the altar, a recording, or a description of what was done and when.

Where it breaks: nothing is shipped, and there is nothing to track. The delivery is the proof, not a parcel, and the timing is a window of hours or days rather than minutes.

Not like Craigslist: the difference is trust

Spiritual work has always been sold through classified ads, flyers and direct messages, and the honest contrast with an open classifieds board is what stands between you and the seller. On Divina, every practitioner is hand reviewed before their shop opens, the price and delivery window are in writing before money moves, payment is held until proof is delivered, and any listing or order can be flagged to a person.

Divina lists protective, healing and intention-positive work only. Nothing baneful, nothing coercive, and nothing worked to bend another person's will.

Where the comparison holds: like any open market, you still choose who to trust, and none of the protections above is a claim about what the work will do.

Like Fiverr: a marketplace for commissioned work

The shape is similar: listings, flat prices, a chat with the seller and payment through the platform. The difference is scope. Fiverr is a general freelance marketplace where spiritual work is one slice; Divina sells spiritual services only. The Fiverr comparison, with its rules and fees sourced to its own pages, has a guide of its own, linked below.

What you can find, by kind of practitioner

Whichever comparison brought you here, the practitioners are the same. Each kind has its own guide, linked at the foot of this page:

• Tarot readers: written, recorded and live tarot, from a single question to a full spread.
• Psychics and intuitives: clairvoyant, channelled and oracle readings.
• Astrologers: natal charts, compatibility and year-ahead work.
• Mediums: readings that reach toward someone who has died.
• Reiki and energy healing: distance sessions performed remotely.
• Spell and ritual work: love-drawing, money, protection and cleansing workings.

No practitioner on Divina may guarantee an outcome, and none of this is a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental health care.
