Book a psychic or spiritual practitioner
Last updated
There are two ways to book a practitioner on Divina. A live session is scheduled — you pick a time and meet by video or voice. A commission is asynchronous — you write your intention, the practitioner performs the work inside a stated window, and delivers it with proof. Both are flat-priced by the practitioner.
Live session or commission?
The choice is really about whether you need to be in the room. A live session suits anything conversational: you want to ask follow-ups as they come, or the work is something you participate in. A commission suits anything the practitioner needs time and quiet to do — most workings, most written readings, all prayer and ritual work.
- Live 1:1 session — scheduled, held over video or voice, length stated on the listing. You are present throughout.
- Commissioned working or reading — you write the intention once, the practitioner works, and it arrives inside the delivery window with proof. Usually cheaper for the same depth, because nobody is paying for scheduling.
Practitioners often offer both. If you are not sure, message them before booking — the pre-booking chat exists precisely so you can ask which shape fits your question.
How to book
- Find a practitioner or an offering. You can browse by what you need or read a practitioner's shop end to end.
- Read the listing. Price, delivery window or session length, and what you receive are all stated before you commit.
- Message first if you want to. Every shop has a chat, and it is open before you pay.
- Place the request with your intention in your own words. You pay at this point.
- For a session, you agree a time; for a commission, the window starts running.
What booking gets you that a DM does not
A lot of this work is arranged through Instagram DMs and direct transfers, which works right up until it does not. Booking through Divina puts the price, the scope and the delivery window in writing before money moves, holds payment until the practitioner delivers proof, keeps the whole conversation in one thread, and gives you a route to flag an order that goes wrong. Every practitioner is hand reviewed before their shop opens.
None of that is a claim about the work itself, which nobody can make. It is a claim about the transaction, which is the part a marketplace can actually be responsible for.
Cancelling and rescheduling
Sessions and commissions are handled differently, and the specifics live in the help center rather than here so there is one authoritative copy. See the refund policy and the article on what happens if an order is late.
No practitioner on Divina may guarantee an outcome, and none of this is a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental health care.
Common questions
How do I book a psychic on Divina?
Find a practitioner or an offering, read the listing for price and delivery window, message the practitioner first if you want to, then place the request with your intention in your own words. You pay when you place it, and the practitioner delivers inside the window they stated.
What is the difference between booking a session and commissioning work?
A live session is scheduled and you are present for it, held over video or voice. A commission is asynchronous: you write the intention once and the practitioner delivers the finished work with proof inside a stated window. Most workings and written readings are commissions.
Can I message a practitioner before I book?
Yes. Every shop has a chat and it is open before you pay. Practitioners routinely help scope a request, or tell you a different offering of theirs is the better fit.
When am I charged?
When you place the request. Payment is then held until the practitioner delivers proof that the work was performed, which is what releases it to them.
