Protection omens

Protection is the theme for the edges you keep so that the center of you can stay soft. Its cards tend to speak in quiet materials: a nest woven from many small kindnesses, a circle of cedar, a light kept burning at the mouth of a harbor. They are not about bracing against the world. They are more concerned with the gentle no that makes a wholehearted yes possible, and with the steadiness that lets you find your own shore again after you have gone out too far.
