Events: how you appear and how to opt out
Seekers planning a party, a wedding, a shower or a work event can find practitioners near their event and message them to book. Every shop is available for events by default, in person and by video, within 25 miles of the location on your shop. You can change any of it, or turn it off, at any time.
Where you appear
- Events results: when a seeker searches a city within your travel distance, or when they're open to video.
- Your profile: an Events & Parties section under your offerings, with your rate or "Inquire for prices", In person and Video, how far you travel, and a Message to book button.
Travel distance is measured from the location on your shop, and seekers see a distance rounded to the mile, never your address. If your shop has no location, you appear for video only until you add one.
Changing your settings
In your shop settings, under Events, answer "Can people book you for events?" with In person, Video, Both or Not for events. If you work in person, choose how far you'll travel: 10, 25 or 50 miles, or Anywhere. You can add an hourly rate and minimum hours; your profile then shows "From $X/hr · N hr min". Leave the rate empty and it shows "Inquire for prices". The rate is only shown, never charged.
Opting out
Choose Not for events in your shop settings, or use the one-tap link in our email about events. Your Events & Parties section and your events results disappear; nothing else about your shop changes. You can switch it back on any time.
Taking a booking
- A seeker messages you with their date, place and group size.
- Confirm your availability, travel and price in chat. Every request is yours to accept or decline.
- Tap + in the chat, choose Listing, and share an offering that fits, or choose Create a new listing to make one for this event.
- The seeker pays through Divina checkout, like any order.
Any event arranged through Divina is paid through Divina. Don't take payment or a deposit for it anywhere else. In-person work is always your call: you set your own travel, rate and safety terms, and Divina doesn't vet venues, hosts or attendees.
