What can and cannot be arranged remotely

Say the limit first so nobody plans around a thing that is not available. Divina lists remote work only, so no practitioner here will officiate, attend, or lead a handfasting in the room. If you need someone physically present at the ceremony, that is a local hire and this is the wrong place to look.

Almost everything else that surrounds a wedding is remote work by nature, and a surprising amount of it is commissioned:

• A blessing on the marriage, said in a named tradition, on or before the day.
• A cleansing and blessing of the home you are moving into together — the most practical of these and the most commonly bought.
• A synastry reading: both birth charts read against each other, as a gift or for yourselves.
• A reading for the couple about the year they are walking into.
• Per-guest readings ordered ahead and given out as favours at the reception.
• A working for the weather, which people commission for outdoor weddings more often than you would think.

Handfasting, and what a practitioner can contribute from a distance

Handfasting is a ceremony performed by someone present, so the ceremony itself has to be local. What a remote practitioner can do is the preparation around it: writing or advising on the liturgy in their tradition, preparing and blessing the cord or the objects you will use, and performing a working for the union on the day while you are standing in it. Ask in chat before booking — this is exactly the kind of thing practitioners scope in conversation.

Timing

Commission earlier than feels necessary. A home cleansing wants to happen before you move in, not after; a synastry reading is hours of chart work; and a practitioner's delivery window is a commitment they will not compress because your date is fixed. Weeks, not days.

How it works

You describe your intention in your own words, pay when you place the request, and a private chat opens with the practitioner. They perform the work inside the delivery window stated on the listing and share proof when it is done.

Proof is evidence the work was performed, not evidence that it worked: the written reading itself, a photo of the spread or the altar, a recording, or a description of what was done and when.
