Creativity omens

Creativity is the theme for making something small on an ordinary day, before anyone has asked you to be good at it. Its cards tend to speak in materials you might already have on the desk: a blank page, a well of ink, a pocket with a few seeds in it, a map that follows the wildflowers instead of the road. They do not ask the work to be impressive. They let curiosity arrive first and treat your inner life as worth patient language. Possibility, in these cards, is carried lightly and opens on its own schedule, and the line from here to there is allowed to wander.
