Notifications: order updates and News from Divina

On iPhone, Divina sends two kinds of push notifications. Order updates are about something you bought or sold. News from Divina is optional: it's included when you turn on notifications in the app, and you can turn it off any time.

Order updates

These tell you when a practitioner accepts your request, when they message you, and when your offering is complete. Practitioners get the same kind of notification about their own orders and messages. Order updates come whenever notifications are allowed for Divina in iOS Settings, because they're about something you bought or sold.

News from Divina

A note when there's something new on Divina, a gift for you, or a reading we think you'll love. Reminders about an order you started but didn't finish come under News from Divina too. When you tap Turn on notifications in the app, News from Divina is turned on too, and the app says so under the button. It only arrives while notifications are also allowed for Divina in iOS Settings.

Turn News from Divina on or off

1. Open the Divina app and tap the You tab.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Switch News from Divina on or off.

The app asks when you set it up (and in a short card later on). Turning on notifications there includes News from Divina. If you say not now, you can turn it on any time in Notifications.

Nothing is arriving

If notifications are off for Divina in iOS Settings, nothing arrives, order updates included. Open Notifications in the app and tap Open iOS Settings to turn them back on.

Email is separate

News from Divina is only about push notifications. Your email choices are separate, under You → Notifications in the app and on the web, and unsubscribing from an email doesn't change News from Divina, or the other way round. Receipts and order updates by email always arrive.

The website doesn't send push notifications. On the web, Notifications holds your email choices only.
